Minnieolga - Cards and Prints

Minnieolga is Lauren McIntosh’s signature card and print collection. Lauren is a celebrated Berkeley-based artist and was the co-owner of the iconic Tail of the Yak which after 51 years closed its doors in 2024. Her richly imaginative gouache figurative paintings, as well as her distinctive work in printmaking, calligraphy, and graphic design inform the Minnieolga card and print line so that they are all small works of art unto themselves. The cards/prints are meant to be collected, saved and even framed as long-lasting decorations. The prints are all made in her Berkeley, California studio with great attention to hand craft and they are printed on heavy artist grade paper, decorative details are hand applied, the balance between imperfection and perfection is seen as beauty.
